So! After a great time in Crete and Sorento, we have arrived at Athens: our final (real) stop. Tonight will be our last night together, after which Jordan will jet back to the states. Erica and I will enjoy the city for a bit longer, then head up to London tomorrow night. After a wonderful night sleeping on the floor of Heathrow airport, I'll be stateside by nightfall (well, EST) on the 16th.
So yeah, this travel blog thing hasn't quite worked out. I never have time for it! So, sorry anyone that has been trying to read about my adventures. I've been keeping a journal, so I may type up some of that for your reading pleasure after I get back. Otherwise, that's all!

Lecce
Status update:
We are currently in Lecce, Italy, after a bit of awkward traveling. Though I knew absolutely nothing about the town before we arrived, it's ended up being quite the place! Lecce has a great feel (as wonderfully specific as that is) and the quaint streets are lined with ornate churches and architecture. Tomorrow we are leaving on our first of four ferries into Greece, so hopefully those go well. That's all for now; I hope everyone is doing well stateside and around the world!

I'm almost out of time at this internet cafe, but I just wanted to mention that I'm currently staying just outside of Positano, ITaly and having a great time doing it. We are off to Lecce soon, followed by Greece. Ah! Time!

A possible blog
So here we are - my triumphant return to blogging. Except that I may not really return and the few clicks it took to get this page rolling don't really do justice to 'triumphant.' However, I've gotten to travel the world vicariously through a couple travel blogs I've been following this summer (Nichole, Allison, Caroline...), so I thought I would give an attempt at returning the favor during my forthcoming pond hop. I will try and post the occasional snippet about how I'm both still alive and (hopefully) enjoying myself; however, I make no promises as any bouts of internet activity will be isolated to net cafes (I'm not bringing my laptop), during which time I will probably be too frustrated with Italian/Greek keyboards to offer much. But I'll try my best; if I end up not failing to post very often, I will try my best to fill up my camera with pictures for all to see upon my return (it holds 956...that's going to be a fun slide show).
